Joan Lilley
Joan’s love of art started around 30 years ago. By chance she saw Alwyn Crawshaw painting on TV, and at the end of the programme he urged viewers to ‘Have a go!’ She did, and has never looked back.
As a Regional Coordinator for the SAA (Society for All Artists) Joan found time, not only for painting, but also for organising art workshops, and found great enjoyment in helping both beginners and more experienced students alike.
Joan then embarked on formal art training at the Arts Institute, Bournemouth which, combined with her teaching skills, meant she was well placed to start her own classes.
Joan has exhibited widely in the UK, has work in America and Australia and her paintings have been used reprographically in Northern Europe.
